Barnet Bain, the Filmmaker Behind What Dreams May Come, Reveals How to Find Your True Passion To Mind Movies Co-Founder Natalie Ledwell
Law of Attraction guru and Mind Movies co-founder Natalie Ledwell announced today the release of a new episode of her weekly web series, The Inspiration Show. The short video interview features Barnet Bain, who shares how he went from being a small town Canadian boy to becoming a celebrated Hollywood filmmaker, and now a coach who helps others discover their hearts true passion.
To watch the full episode, visit: http://www.mindmovies.com/inspirationshow/index.php?25408&episode=81
In the short video episode, Bain shares his journey of being raised in a small town in Quebec, Canada. After leaving home as a young man in the 1960s, Bain traveled to San Francisco, where he experimented with drugs.
Bain reveals that despite having an inkling of his passion for storytelling very early in life, he wasnt mature enough to look deeper and explore it. It was only after much soul searching and questioning his beliefs and thoughts later in life that Bain was able to embrace his passion. Once he did this, he moved to Hollywood and began trying to build a career as a filmmaker.
To help individuals realize their true passion, Bain discusses the idea of structure imagining, which he describes as being raised in environments where individuals are the products of their parents stories, other peoples stories, beliefs and expectations. Bain shares the importance of examining the stories that individuals have been told versus what they truly feel and believe in their hearts. According to Bain, this inquiry is the beginning of liberation and discovering ones true passion.
Ask where would you imagine that you would like to be, how would you like to see yourself and how would like to feel in different situations, shares Bain. As you tune into that desire, take a breath and allow yourself to come to an understanding of where you are right now. According to Bain, if an individual finds that there is a gap between this visualized dream life and the life that he or she currently lives, its time to take action to close this gap.

Two-thirds of victims of left-over munitions in Mali are children
BAMAKO/GENEVA UNICEF is warning of a rising threat to communities in Central and Northern Mali from ammunition and explosive devices. Since April 2012, 60 victims of explosive remnants of war have been reported(1), with children making up two thirds of the total. The level of risk is likely to further increase when displaced families start returning home to areas that have seen the worst of the conflict.
Last December, UNICEF estimated that at least 100,000 children and parents were exposed to the dangers of unexploded ordnance (UXO) in Northern Mali. This estimate was made before the military intervention, which has involved air strikes and ground operations since January. Approximately 200,000 children from conflict-affected areas in Central and Northern Mali are at risk of injury or death due to explosive remnants of war (ERW), according to UNICEF.
Children were playing with a device in my courtyard. I thought there was no risk. I threw it on a stone and it exploded, said 19 year-old Amadou, a UXO survivor from Mopti who lost the finger on his left hand. When I woke up, there was blood everywhere. My two brothers, 4 and 16, were injured. My niece died. She was only 18 months-old. I feel sad and guilty.
The danger is now at every corner in communities from Central and Northern Mali where heavy fighting took place, said Franoise Ackermans, UNICEF Representative in Mali. Explosions can happen anywhere and anytime -- when children are on their way to school or when a woman goes to the market. Our teams on the ground report charred remains of war vehicles and a lot of abandoned ammunition.
A mother will not bring her children to the health centre if she believes the surroundings are contaminated with UXOs. A teacher will not go back to school if the courtyard is full of abandoned ammunition, Ms. Ackermans added.
In order to better protect civilians from the explosive threat, UNICEF-supported partners have held public events over the past five months in schools, markets and workplaces that have raised the awareness of an estimated 27,000 people.
We are not always with adults, said 13 year-old Adidiatou after attending a session. If children dont know, they may pick up a grenade or another explosive thing as if it was a toy. They may not realize it can hurt. If children dont participate to these information activities, its a pity.
National and Community based radio stations have also been used to disseminate life-saving messages in five languages, while the agency has also produced posters and other material using Malian artists.
Preliminary field reports for the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) suggest that large quantities of explosive remnants of war (ERW) -- including unexploded and abandoned ammunition such as artillery shells, mortars, rockets, grenades, bullets and aircraft bombs -- have been left behind in the aftermath of air attacks and ground operations. The highest concentration of ERWs is likely to be found in areas where heavy fighting took place such as in Diabaly, Douentza, Konna and Gao.
It is clear that Mali is impacted by the presence of landmines and explosive ordnance, said Gareth Edwin Francis, UNMAS Operations Officer. The United Nations has a duty to address this through the swift deployment of survey and Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams in order to ensure safe access for all actors and, importantly, to respond to the needs of the Malian population. As one of several steps to this end, UNMAS is currently planning the imminent deployment of a team to Konna in Central Mali. More will follow.
In 2013, UNICEF and its partners are planning to step up mine-risk education activities and radio sensitization campaigns, especially in Northern regions in order to raise the awareness of about 400,000 people in conflict affected areas.

'Voice In A Million' Set To Perform At Wembley In An Extra Special Celebration Of Mums
The 'Arena Spectacle' will see around 5,000 members of the UK children's choir take to the stage at one of the worlds best known music venues, to perform a wide ranging repertoire of engaging numbers including the Gary Barlows Jubilee Hit Sing, the Olympic theme 'One Night Like This' and the heart-string-tugging 'I want a Mum' which is an original Cyndi Lauper piece rearranged specifically for the choir in celebration and recognition of the hard work, love and dedication of Mums everywhere.
The 'Voice in a Million' choir has gained national esteem and found a place in the hearts of many since the musical project was founded in 2009. The concept behind the choir was one of passion and tenderness for the plight of children across the world who are unfortunate to have to live without the care of their parents. 'Voice in a Million' was created to be a platform upon which to raise awareness of those children separated, abandoned or orphaned and in desperate need of a loving family life.
Having started in 2009 with around only 30 members, the children's choir has exploded in reputation and following, with over 20,000 members performing as part of the 'Voice in a Million' choir nationally. The choir has enjoyed success at sold out arenas, through the release of an album and have also appeared with a range of global music superstars.
'Voice in a Million' are looking to maximise public awareness this Mothers Day for the millions of children in need of a family. If you'd like to hear more about the 'Voice in a Million' project, enquire about any aspect of this release or to arrange an appearance on either radio or television, the choir would be delighted to hear from you. Removal of Children from the Commonwealth
One of the most complex issues faced by the Probate and Family Court arises when one parent wishes to relocate out of Massachusetts with a minor child, or "remove" the child from the state. The removal statute found in M.G.L. ch. 208 Section 30 states that "A minor child of divorced parents...shall not, if of suitable age to signify his consent, be removed out of this Commonwealth without such consent, or, if under that age, without the consent of both parents, unless the court upon cause shown otherwise orders." Though the statute refers to a child of divorced parents, it has also been applied to children born out of wedlock.
The statue provides two easy methods to remove a child out of the Commonwealth. First, if the child is of suitable age, then he or she can consent to the removal. Second, one parent may consent to the child's removal by the other parent. However, the majority of removal cases involve either children who are not old enough to consent, or involve the other parent opposing the removal. In this situation, the statute authorizes the Court to order the removal "upon good cause shown."
Over the years, the courts have been tasked with determining what exactly the vague language "good cause shown" means. Fortunately, the case law has been relatively settled after the Supreme Judicial Court's precedential case, Yannas v. Frontistou-Yannas, 395 Mass. 704 (1985), which primarily focused on interpreting this phrase. The court began its analysis by broadly stating that "good cause" means that it would be in the best interest of the child, including whether the child's quality of life would be improved, the effect the move would have on the child's relationship with the non-custodial parent, and the emotional and developmental effects of the move on the child.
More specifically, the court in Yannas and later courts alike placed significant weight on whether the custodial parent has demonstrated a "good, sincere reason" for wanting to remove the child. A "good" reason to remove the child has been interpreted to include a move closer to extended family, a move by the custodial parent for better job prospects, and a move for a new spouse's employment. A "sincere" reason for seeking removal is one that is not motivated by a desire to diminish or preclude contact between the non-custodial parent and the child. Once this "good, sincere reason" threshold has been met, a court will then determine all other factors affecting the "best interest of the child" collectively to reach its decision.
There is no easy answer to the removal question. Most often, it becomes an extremely contentious and emotionally charged issue. The most important thing to remember for a removal case, as well as any other case involving children, is that the courts will always act in the best interest of the child and seek to preserve the child's relationship with the non-custodial parent.

Used Chevy Transmissions for Sale Now Receive Two-Year Warranties at GotTransmissions.com
Chevrolet is part of the General Motors company and represents the second largest automobile brand in the United States. The engines and transmissions that are used in these vehicles are factory engineered for placement into new vehicles. The GotTransmissions.com company has applied a new two-year warranty program to its used Chevy transmissions for sale online. The manual and automatic transmission inventory at this company is eligible for this extension of coverage. More details can be read on the Internet at http://www.gottransmissions.com/blog/chevy-transmissions.
Chevrolet produces passenger cars, SUVs and pickup trucks that are now sold worldwide. The gearing ratios that are used inside of each transmission are hand-picked for accuracy and longevity. GM outsources some of the production of its transmissions to supply the public with alternatives to purchase its units. Buyers unable to locate a local source for replacement assemblies can now take advantage of the warranted and discounted transmissions for sale online.
The traditional spring-loaded transmission style that was used up until the 1980s has now been retired for electronically controlled editions. The Hydra-matic editions that are produced by General Motors provide electronic controls for shifting to improve transportation.
Evaluations of these parts and accessories used in automatic transmissions are now completed at Got Transmissions as an extra way to prove reliability for customers. Each unit that is purchased through distribution companies is personally checked with an inspection report before customer shipment.
The used manual and automatic units that are in stock are now shipped free of charge for all customers. This shipment incentive was created during the summer of last year and remains in place. The shipments that depart the company warehouse on a daily basis are sent for no cost inside the United States. Mechanics, body shops, junkyards, salvage yards and other buyers of replacement transmissions now take advantage of the price savings offered.
The news announcement for this no cost shipping incentive can be read on the Internet at http://www.prweb.com/releases/used-transmissions/Ford-Chevy-Dodge-GM/prweb9423855.htm. This special incentive is scheduled to remain in place throughout the rest of this fiscal year.
About Got Transmissions
The Got Transmissions company supplies automotive, SUV and pickup truck transmissions at discounted pricing online. The complete inventory of automatic and manual transmissions sold by this company is shipped for no cost for customers. The discount pricing incentives frequently announced by this company help to provide better buying resources for all customers.
