Non Profits work with US Treasuries HAFA SD11-02 Guidelines
to Short Sale and Lease Back to Homeowner
Fresh Start Certified Listing Agents are working with homeowners that qualify for this program through HAFA SD 1102 that was introduced in June 2011. This Government Program allows for banks to remove the ARMs length agreement so the homeowner can remain in the home and lease it back for a period of up to 3 years. This also allows the homeowner to work on credit repair for repurchase of the home.
Fresh Start A Non-Profit Housing Initiative has been working hand in hand with homeowners that qualify and have a desire to stay in their home. The main goal of the Fresh Start Certified Listing Agent is to help the homeowner avoid foreclosure.
This program allows the homeowner to stay in their home while leasing it back from a Non-Profit organization while working on credit repair to eventually repurchase the home minus the negative equity. This is a benefit to the homeowner, as they will be able to, in most cases, buy the home back for much less than what was originally owed and there is no cost to the homeowner to participate in this program.
For underwater homeowners that have been casualties of this housing market, HAFA SD 1102 program offers a way to regain the American Dream of Homeownership.
